Ginny is sweet little bunny measuring about 20" tall from the tip of her ears to her painted on black mary janes....handmade by Jan Marie Dolls and Prims....



Her dress is made from lovely quilt fabrics...and has been aged and distressed...embellished with rusty bells...rusty pins...her sunflower is a handmade with painted aged and distressed fabrics...a real twig... and is securely attached to her arm with rusty wire....but easily removed if desired...



Ginny is made from osnaburg which has been stained in my own prim mix...sanded for a real olde worn look...her nose is hand embroidered....her eyes are done by hand...painted and with pencils....



Her bloomers are made from denim which has aged and stained....



She is just darling...ready for spring....and would make a beautiful addition to your bunny collection...



She will easily sit on a prim shelf or cupboard...or any old place you choose...she also has a aged string on her back to hang her for display as shown in the photos...



She will come to you signed and dated...

Poppy is sweet little bunny measuring about 21" tall from the top of her head to her painted on black ballet shoes....handmade by Jan Marie Dolls and Prims....



Her dress is made from lovely quilt fabrics...and has been aged and distressed...embellished with vintage style baby buttons...her basket is a handmade with fabric wrapped cotton cord...floral wire...spring flowers...stitched in for stability... and hangs over her arms which are tied with a piece of embroidery floss so the basket can be removed if desired....

Primitive Folk Art Raggedy Ann Penny Rabbit Easter Bunny

Penny Rabbit is just as sweet as can be...and measures apprx 21"...handmade by me...
She has been made from osnaburg...coffee/vanilla stained...painted and sanded..for a very prim look..
She is wearing a cotton dress of white on white polka dots..and made very prim with a cofee/vanilla staining...rusty bells and aged cheesecloth finish off her very prim look...

~ Primitive Folk Art Raggedy Ann Itty Bitty Bunny for Easter ~

Just as cute as can be...this itty bitty Bunny...measures apprx 9-10" with ears...and is handmade by me using a Sweet Meadows Farm pattern...
his body is made from cotton fabric and the head and ears are from plush felt...
all stained for a very primitive look with a coffee/vanilla mix...
the brown plastic button eyes are sewn on...and his whiskers are sisal...
his little round hangtag says "Bunny"...he will come to you signed and dated...

He is the perfect size to tuck just about anywhere...and is sure to make you smile...

A Tisket, A Tasket, A Lot of Easter Baskets

I'm really hooked on making these baskets...they are so easy and super cute....they are perfect for Easter candy and eggs and after you can use them for just about anything...each one really is different because you can mix the fabric strips any way you want....

Hippity Hoppity Easter's On It's Way

Sorry for being away for so long...things happen in this game we call life....
so Easter is on it's way already...but I'm back with more primitive folk art dolls...here is a little something I just finished up...I think she came out rather sweetly...this bunny is a cutie with her little skirt and in the running mode...she must be going to pick up Easter eggs....

Her face is handpainted and she is wearing a rusty bell around her neck..she is on a wooden candlestick that has been painted white and distressed...

Winter Doldrums...Ho Hum

I have the worst case of winter doldrums....defined as stagnation, a state of inactivity, dull, gloomy, sluggish, listless...need I go on...How does one break away from this feeling...I am really not a winter girl at all...

I long for warm, sunshiny days...

I am dreaming of all the things I will create...now if I could just get the rest of me to cooperate...



Here is one sweet little baby..this was a custom order for one sweet little girl...I hope she loves her as much as I loved creating her...she is a soft sculpture baby doll with brown eyes...she has a cute little tushie and is needle sculpted all over..she is wearing a cloth diaper made for her and a cute little pink nightgown with matching hat, mittens and socks...

she is a OOAK doll...and wears preemie size baby clothing....

Ok, I will get busy....I will get busy....I will keep telling myself this until I hear that sewing machine hum all day...

Snowman and Cardinal

I finished one of the snowmen...This one has his little friend the cardinal resting on his branch arm...this picture really does not do this piece justice...I was a little over zealous in getting this picture...the light is not very good at all...

The face is handpainted and sealed..I added twigs for the arms along with some other greenery and berries...a darling christmas print for the body...trimmed with sherpa, rusty bells, rusty pins and more...this is my own design...

This little girl is waiting for a diaper and some clothes...picky little girls must wait you see...but she seems happy sitting on a pile of fabric...Hmmm...can't decide what color to wear....

Get Ready For Market

I'm getting ready for Farmer's Market tomorrow...this is new for me...must have new things each week to hold interest...I added these lovely tall door pumpkins, some of the smaller tall skinnies to sell individually...I'm going to show Peter Pumpkin and see if it peeks anyone's interest there....here's a couple of pics...

Little Annie may be ready for bedtime and Santa(Sweet Meadows Farm pattern)...but I'm not!!

These are those tall door pumpkins...they have wire hanger on the back to hang on the wall or door...they are based on another's pattern(joy's prim shed)...but I changed the embellishments some..

I made some of these little ellies(pattie's ratties)...they are so cute...

My dear hubby makes these awesome primitive cabinets..this one is waiting for rusty hinges and then the door will be added and the finish painted on...be back with more pics on this project...you can email me for sizes,pricing and other questions if interested....

A Witch, A Shelf & A Boot

A new witch I am working on. This is from a pattern...She is going to be really spooky looking when done...she will have a hat, some string hair and some bells... I also am working on a new style of witch boot...it will have rusty bells, dried sweet annie, and other embellishments....I'll post finished photos later....

This is a great little shelf my DH makes from reclaimed wood....They are really a great size for mudrooms, hallways and along side a door...they can be ordered in several colors...the one shown is quite distressed and shown in a buttermilk color....
