Primitive Folk Art Raggedy Ann Queen Elizabeth

This beauty is Queen Elizabeth..she is just as sweet as can be....
She is made from osnaburg & has been stuffed...stained...painted and lightly sanded..











Dressed in her finest cotton prints...embellished with olde cotton lace...rusty bells...and neck ruffles...She has lots of hand painted detailing and a hand stitched round nose...
She is holding her sceptor...made from an olde wooden thread bobbin and a large plastic jewel...
simply tied to her hand..



Queen Eliazbeth is apprx 30" including her hat...she is a wonderful whimsical doll and is sure to make you smile..She is a one of a kind by Jan Marie Dolls and Prims...a pattern from the pixie's thimble was used in the making of this doll..

had a day at the zoo

and came home with a 

giraffe almost as big

as her...she is so sweet 

and the pictures don't do her justice...

this raggedy annie is made from osnaburg...

tea stained and sanded...

with many embellishements..

her giraffe is made from

plush felt with handpainted spots..

this primitive little annie and her giraffe will be appearing on

ebay for seven days beginning tomorrow...

Knot Dress Raggedy Ann

I just finished the clothing for this little knot dress annie...

She is a one of a kind...

her dress will match the knot dress I am...

making for my friends baby girl...

I think she is just the cutest little cloth doll...

I made her hair from a knit which I have sewn into...

a spaghetti or dreadlock...

her face is handpainted... 

not sure what to seal with yet since...

the baby is still kinda little...

my friend may just have to shelve this raggedy annie for a while longer... 

 I have another raggedy from a sweet meadows farm pattern...

I'm working on...will

post that tomorrow night...

should be done by then...

Well, Hello World !!!

Well after an exteremly long hiatus...I think I am back in the saddle...

I am working on a new little raggedy annie for a friend...

she just had a baby girl and I'm thinking...

this annie with a knot dress to match the one I'm....

gonna make for the baby....

I included a pic of the fabrics too....

I think she is just so cute...

she will have red hair made like small...

spaghetti straps...kinda like dreadlocks but not...

and of course my 5 year old granddie says I can make the baby....

a dress with cupcakes only if I make her one too....

Snowman and Cardinal

I finished one of the snowmen...This one has his little friend the cardinal resting on his branch arm...this picture really does not do this piece justice...I was a little over zealous in getting this picture...the light is not very good at all...

The face is handpainted and sealed..I added twigs for the arms along with some other greenery and berries...a darling christmas print for the body...trimmed with sherpa, rusty bells, rusty pins and more...this is my own design...

Well, almost...She is a work in progress and she must have arms and legs...She will be a primitive little Ellie...with a pink skirt and bow on her head...she is based on several little ellie's I have seen while surfing the net.... Primitive Little Elle

Well I am really moving slow these days, I can't seem to get motivated this year..I have only worked on these two dolls so far and that is pretty sad.

Here they are on the table at the moment..Hunny Bunny needs bloomers and Andy Love needs pants..oops..I hope he's covered enough for his first photos...

Well I just finished this lovely little Snowgirl. I love her sweet little face. I hope someone else loves her a much as I do. Here is a picture....

I'm Playing Catch Up

Yep! Time really does fly. Here is my Snowgirl listed on Etsy right now. She really is so sweet in person. And sparkly. Very prim.

Three on the Way!

I have three little cuties on the way. My little 3 year old grandbaby said Grammy, I love all your baby dolls. Enough for me, that's why I do it.

Well here are the cuties, no arms no legs and they still look adorable to me. I hope they don't have to scratch their noses, could be a problem. Stay posted I will be listing them on eBay this week.
