Americana Raggedy Ann

I finally got the flag done...I decided not to use a store bought flag...

so I made this darling little primitive flag for Annie to hold...

And of course she still has her handmade tag the says "Long May She Wave"

I have just now listed her on my eBay ...

Long May She Wave

Getting ready to pay tribute to our veterans on Memorial Day....
 who have so proudly served to...

protect and keep us safe on our home soil...

this is Long May She Wave Annie...

her tag is handwritten and has a hand drawn flag

her apron has pretty red white and blue swirls with gold stars...

I want to get a little flag for her to hold...

g is for giraffe annie

g is for giraffe...this annie has

had a day at the zoo

and came home with a 

giraffe almost as big

as her...she is so sweet 

and the pictures don't do her justice...

this raggedy annie is made from osnaburg...

tea stained and sanded...

with many embellishements..

her giraffe is made from

plush felt with handpainted spots..

this primitive little annie and her giraffe will be appearing on

ebay for seven days beginning tomorrow...

I have posted a lot more pictures on ebay so be sure and

she is based on a sweet meadows farm pattern...

Knot Dress Raggedy Ann

I just finished the clothing for this little knot dress annie...

She is a one of a kind...

her dress will match the knot dress I am...

making for my friends baby girl...

I think she is just the cutest little cloth doll...

I made her hair from a knit which I have sewn into...

a spaghetti or dreadlock...

her face is handpainted... 

not sure what to seal with yet since...

the baby is still kinda little...

my friend may just have to shelve this raggedy annie for a while longer... 

 I have another raggedy from a sweet meadows farm pattern...

I'm working on...will

post that tomorrow night...

should be done by then...

Well, Hello World !!!

Well after an exteremly long hiatus...I think I am back in the saddle...

I am working on a new little raggedy annie for a friend...

she just had a baby girl and I'm thinking...

this annie with a knot dress to match the one I'm....

gonna make for the baby....

I included a pic of the fabrics too....

I think she is just so cute...

she will have red hair made like small...

spaghetti straps...kinda like dreadlocks but not...

and of course my 5 year old granddie says I can make the baby....

a dress with cupcakes only if I make her one too....

I will post finished pics later...
