A Sneak Peek!!

I am making the cutest little african american dolls....I think she or maybe he is sweet....I created a new soft sculpture pattern for them so it will need some tweaking....it has a little longer torso and the nose is sculpted not sewn on...it will also have the plastic safety joints so arms and legs move...easier to change clothes for kiddies too....different ears...so we'll see...let me know your thoughts...comments are always appreciated...

Two Ellies...

Sorry, I've been really busy and stressed this week and last....I think I hope it's on to smoother sailing....anywho...

What A Great Day!!

What a great day for a brand new Market Day....Tivoli Village in Summerlin....Great people out and about shopping here today....this is a brand new outdoor shopping mall....

I added the handmade kids clothing to the lineup and everyone loved it....I can't wait to add some new items for next week ...

A Great Community Sale Day

Another WIP

I have so many starts....I better start moving on to the finish....like hair, clothes, shoes, socks, diapers....wow sounds alot like a diaper bag.....

Oh Lookie, Another Baby on the Way

What a sweet little face....arms and legs too...of course she is wondering where her body is....be patient little one it's on the way....creation is a process....these babies are all about the size of a newborn baby and are weighted so they feel like a real baby when you cuddle them....and you will cuddle...you just can't help yourself....

Off to finish creating....

I really must get a new camera....these pictures look so grainy...what do you think?....

A Tisket, A Tasket, A Lot of Easter Baskets

I'm really hooked on making these baskets...they are so easy and super cute....they are perfect for Easter candy and eggs and after you can use them for just about anything...each one really is different because you can mix the fabric strips any way you want....

Hippity Hoppity Easter's On It's Way

Sorry for being away for so long...things happen in this game we call life....
so Easter is on it's way already...but I'm back with more primitive folk art dolls...here is a little something I just finished up...I think she came out rather sweetly...this bunny is a cutie with her little skirt and in the running mode...she must be going to pick up Easter eggs....

Her face is handpainted and she is wearing a rusty bell around her neck..she is on a wooden candlestick that has been painted white and distressed...

I have been checking out some interesting blogs lately too and those ladies in Russia and neighboring countries are so talented....I want to start making teddy bears their's are so adorable...
