Vintage Style Giraffe

well here is a first...I made this cute little giraffe from a pattern I bought last year...

her designs are so cute..

I am really happy with the this little giraffe turned out...

of course I used a plush fabric and not mohair...

I wanted to get a few under my belt ....

before I cut into the expensive mohair...

A Cutie Baby Doll for My Little Cutie Pie

I made this little cutie for my youngest grandbaby...

she always wants one of everything I make...

A Little Monkey Business

OK so I have been monkeying around...

I know it's almost Christmas...

I can't wait for her to be done so I can commence to

Fall Is In The Air!! Yeah!!

Fall is in the air...I can feel it...it is so much cooler later in the day and early in the morning...

I have been really working hard to get all my info back on my computer...

so I do apologize for not posting in a such a long while....

I think I may finally be back on track and in the swing...

Here are the last of my pumpkins...

these pumpkins sell faster than I can make them...

I made quite a few more and sold to locals before I could post on ebay....

The pumpkin above is a combo of a pattern by I think Sweet Meadows Farm and

a little twist of my own styling...

I just love adding fall florals around the house and this pumpkin is perfect..

the bat is attached to rusty wire...

and is easily removed from the floral foam inside the pumpkin...

These pumpkins are all made from muslin that has been painted...sanded...distressed...

and rubbed with my own prim mix...

And of course the Tall Skinny Pumpkins by DDFA....everyone loves these so much...

they are wonerful on a front porch...

or next to a fireplace...but not too close...

we don't want roasted pumpkins...

And this is a first white pumpkin...this picture really does no justice...

the coloring on this is really pretty...the white is offset by a tinge of

orange in the seams...

and of course Primitive Folk Art is all handmade by Jan.... for Jan Marie Dolls and Prims....

Baby Miss Piggy

Had to buy a new laptop...my old one had a blue screen critical error and all the information was lost...so please be patient with me...I am trying to add things to this new computer...so much information...family photos...documents...doll and craft patterns....so along with the new laptop I have also added an external hard drive to do backups...listen ladies and gents...I cannot stress enough how important this is...I

learned the hardway...
Anywho!!!

This is what I worked on last week...she is a custom order...Baby Miss Piggy...

she turned out really cute...I hope the customer likes

her too!!!....

She is based on a vintage Vogue pattern with my own little changes...handmade by JanMarieDollsandPrims...

I just need to finish up her little booties and add lace to her gloved hands....

Next comes baby Kermit...he just hasn't dyed the way I want yet...He really

is a tough color to duplicate...anyone have any ideas for Kermit the frog green??
